The Rental

Back in April I had to do some dress shopping for a wedding and can I just say dress shopping is not as fun. Maybe it's the pressure of needing to find a dress for that event in a certain amount of time and then you know those pictures are going to last forever. So I knew I didn't want to do that again for this past weekends family party at the Queen Mary. Just a few computer clicks and I rented the perfect dress from Rent the Runway. Can I just saw that this is a complete game changer? It seriously is! Not only was I able to wear a dress that is well out of budget, but I don't have that guilt of having another dress that will just be worn once or maybe twice. Another big plus is they will send a second size at no additional cost, which I definitely recommend taking advantage of. I got my normal size and ended up wearing the next size up. 

Do you think you would try renting a dress?

    Ah, the dress is so gorgeous! I don't think I would ever rent a dress, tbh, but it's such a cool concept! I prefer owning something, haha. Those blue heels go perfectly with the dress!

    I almost rented this dress in blue a few months ago!! I absolutley adore it on you--I love their concept! I can't tell you how many times I buy a dress for a special occasion and only wear it once--so its so worth it to not have to spend a fortune!!

    What a cool dress! I have never tried Rent the Runway before. I hope you had a wonderful time on the Queen Mary. I've been there several time for tea and dinner and it's always fun!

    Great dress, it looks wonderful on you. I've often wondered if R.T.R. was really any good. Meaning, are the dresses current and in great condition. I've always loved this dress but never ended up purchasing it. The one you rented seems to be in pretty good condition still. The double-backing has life and creates serious stance in the shoulder & arms. You must have good luck. Jealous!
