Bastille Day-Part 1

About two weeks ago, I was in France. Just kidding. That would have been nice and probably would have made for a great blog post. But doesn't this cute coffee shop look like it could be in France? Well I teamed up with my friend Marissa to pretend we were in France in honor of Bastille Day (that's today). So of course some red, white, and blue were in order. And let's just say that we found a lot of spots in LA that felt like we were in France meaning there will be more pictures from this day.

P.s. If you're in LA, I highly recommend stopping at Broome Street, which is where we took these.

Craving Lately: Statement Jackets

one, two, three

Don't get me wrong, I love all my staple jackets. But with all the pretty details and fabrics these statement makers have-too amazing for words. It's perfect for those days you just wear a tee and jeans and want to take it the next notch without even trying. Just pop a statement jacket on and done! Now how can I get my hands on all three of these? 

Now kick your feet up because it's Fri-Yay! 

Tropical Shorts

It's taken over a decade to bring myself to giving white classic shirts a go. When you're forced as a kid to wear them, you can't really shake those memories off that easily. Mind you I had a great childhood. I just never liked being forced to wear something. Somethings never change, but my openness to the beauty of a classic has. I mean I am pairing the classic shirt with fun printed shorts. That definitely wouldn't have flied in elementary school.
