Spring Casual

So I guess you can say I took another little hiatus last week, but was able to share with you my Shopbop picks because that's just too good even a sick girl will manage to shop. Not that you really want to hear all the details of being sick, but oh-m-gee last week was one of those weeks you think is never going to end and get nothing done. So pretty much my do-to list from the week was pilled on to the weekend. I really wasn't looking forward to the weekend with a never ending to-do list, but then miracles happen and suddenly things get cancelled and you find thee dress for that wedding next week. It's so pretty! But now the shoe hunt is on and I have like 4 days. I like to push the limits-I know.

I've mentioned before, but my full on obsessive love for florals is in complete overdrive. When I bought this top (another sweet TJ Maxx find), all I found that day was floral print after floral. I might have bought 3 floral tops-opps! Since there's no pink or purple in the print, I figured it was a perfect time to pop on this fun color from Glow Minerals. It's actually a lip crayon that has a sharpener for a cap, which is pretty genius! I'm wearing Sorbet and is a bright matte pink. It's been my go-to pink lip shade.

Repeating Lace

Who loves repeats? This girl! This whole look is a complete repeat and I'm okay with that. Sometimes I question my Free People binges, but this lace top (love this) keeps proving itself time and time again. My boss and I had a deep conversation (a whole 60 seconds roughly) about this top. I'm not going to lie, but that totally made my day. Now I'm thinking I gotta keep this up and as you probably have seen it's the most anticipated sale (aka the Shopbop sale). Not My Boyfriend's Jeans

Usually it's boys or anyone of the male gender that say the funniest thing about fashion women wear. 

And I know boyfriend jeans have gotten plenty of comments from my own boyfriend. He's learned by now that yes these are suppose to be loose.

This weekend though it was my mom. "Adri are you wearing guy pants? I mean are you wearing your boyfriend's pants?" Her sincere concern and tone of voice were priceless. And for the record these are not my boyfriend's pants.

Lacey Me

It's funny how sometimes even I feel like I don't have anything to wear. Yesss, sometimes personal stylists don't know what to wear. But resorting back to what feels right to YOU is always a win! For me it tends to involve what I call boho glam-loose top, distressed denim, and some bling! And you know what? I got so many compliments this day (a rarity in the hustle of LA), it just reminded me to dress for me.

Business Casual

The weekend may have felt like it went by in a blink, but so many things happened. It's really only until this moment that I realize how much I actually did do. From deciding to attend Lucky Fabb to meeting with a client for a little personal styling session, it was quite the weekend! I really can't wait to share more about both soon!

Since it started to get a little chilly around here, it seemed so fitting to bring out one of my favorite blazers. The color and texture is what gives it that special flare and to think I was going to pass this one up?!

Two Ways: Open Toe Booties

One of my favorite trends for Spring, which is right around the corner, is open toe booties. And after my blogging friend, Nina over at After the 40 Bar Finish, and I realized we not only agreed but have thee same open-toe booties, we decided it was a must to bring you two casual looks to style them. Old Navy Sweater (similar) / Gap Jeans / Booties

It's safe to say that we both reached for bf jeans, but clearly we think alike. I mean we did buy the exact same booties.  Spring is suppose to bring warmer temps, but sometimes it's still chilly. So I went for a cozy and warm look. Paired with a comfy graphic sweater and a little bling (can't forget the bling!) it makes for a put together look that can go from grabbing coffee to weekend errands.
