So no these pictures weren't taken at night, but this is what I wore for a weeknight date. Let's emphasis weeknight. That never happens! It was totally worth the painful early next morning. But one of the challenges of meeting the boyfriend after work is the attire and walking friendly. He's a suit and tie guy and a very handsome one I might add. I'm pretty laid back. So sometimes I look like a college kid next to him. Finding a balance of dressing up and still incorporating practical and very me pieces is what I have been working on. Because let's face it, I'm not dressing like I belong in a corporate environment. This shift dress and leather jacket are my idea of dressing up while still being me and practical for lots of walking. Does anyone else have this situation?

It really hasn't hit me yet (outfits still not planned out thoroughly). But it's down to one day for Lucky Fabb. If you'll be there, I'd love to meet you!

Hope you're having a great week! xo

Feeling Bold

Truthfully, I could live in a grey tee and my skinny jeans. But add a fun bold blazer, killer shoes, and fun accessories it really takes it to a new level. While this is completely my ideal date night look, I am kicking myself for not thinking of this ensemble for our past date night to the new Ace Hotel. How can you say no to this view? I guess that means I will be back and in this outfit.

Now let's talk blazer. I mean this bold printed blazer. This is one that I feel head over heels for. Bold yet neutral print, faux leather lapel, and under $35. It's a recent purchase from H&M and no not from the sale rack. There really was no way I was coming home without it.

Thank you so much for reading! Happy Tuesday!
