Grey Jeans

I don' know what it is lately. I just can't seem to get enough, but grey is something that I just keep being drawn to. Not so good for everyone getting a gift from me this year. But since I've been on the hunt for jeans and the second I saw these grey pair at Zara, I knew it was meant to be. Mixed in with my favorite top (last seen here and here), purse, and heels, it's a nice change from my blue jeans.

P.s. If you are looking for a bag that's big enough to fit your DSLR and more without the bulk, this purse is perfect!

Lace Details

So really I thought I was going to write all about this oh so pretty lace top I recently picked up from Zara. Besides the fact that I think I have love for white lace tops, it's just so easy to wear and go. I may have worn it three days in row. Yup, already getting my return per wear on this beauty. The best part is I've managed to keep it clean and not spill a single thing on it. However, them jeans you see will be the first and last time. I've had them for years, but rediscovered them (aka my go-to jeans are in the every growing laundry pile). And while I was waiting for my food to warm up in the microwave I thought I'd do couple of squats you know to get a little exercise in. Now I know there is a reason why you are suppose to do that in yoga pants not jeans. A couple of squats later and the sounds of tearing-pants.ripped! RIPPED right on the tush! I really can't believe that happened, but then I look at my jeans and just laugh.

Happy Wednesday!

Red, White, and Blue

stripe top (similar, love this sleeveless one) // zara skort // target sandals
Here's the thing that has made me cringe over the years about dressing for holidays, it's usually done in a way that just screams bad fashion. It took me several years to figure out that it can be done in a chic and stylish way. And really isn't it smarter to look for pieces you already have in your closet to pull a look together for the 4th? I think so. The best part is that it probably will work any day of the year not just the 4th of July. I wore this out to dinner the other day and I totally got the stamp of approval from my handsome guy. The key is keeping the red or blue the accent color. Since I have way more blue and white in my closet, I went for a redish purse (I know it looks more coral in these pictures) as the accent.

Have you planned your outfit for the 4th yet? Here's some pieces that I love:

Sunday's Best

This weekend was a wet when but I knew I wasn't going to let that stop me from wearing a dress or rather might I say my favorite dress that I picked up from Zara's. Yes, I know, you really can't see it but for this girl who is managing to show a sliver of skin there was no way my coat was coming off. But don't worry! I promise to show this cute number again, very soon:)

Did anyone watch the Oscars? I have to say that I caught the end of it. I pretty much will pick eating yummy food and ice cream over watching t.v. any day. But totally loved watching it with my bf with his commentary. And I quote "I remember watching this when I was 9 and thinking how come Dumber and Dumber doesn't win?" Major aww moment. But so loved both the speeches and the outfits from Lupita Nyong'o and Matthew McConaughey.
Alright, let's do this Monday! xo

Neutral Ground

Have you ever been in line at the mall and it's sooo looong that you keep eyeing the things nearby but don't want to get out of line? But those shoes over there. That shirt over there. Oh! No, just stay.in.line. Well that's exactly how these shoes came to be. I was in line with my flats from yesterday and they were those shoes tempting me to get out of line. Basically, I did the line twice and I'm confirming that I love shoes. And for those of you high heeled challenged, these are actually doable. Perhaps it's the chunky heel.

Thanks so much for reading! xo
