Confession: I have worn this jumpsuit more times than I could count and even here. I'm a big outfit repeater by nature and sometimes I feel this weird pressure to not wear things again on the blog. Am I the only one? I mean it's ridiculous, right? Don't we buy clothes so we can wear them more than once? I know I do. Heck, I often wear something twice in one week. If no one saw me wear it, I might just put it back on the next day. I'm certainly not going to waste a good outfit. I really didn't intend to rant, but as much as I love this blogging world there are some unrealistic things going on. And well, I'm just want to say that as much as I love buying new clothes I love to wear those clothes over and over. And this jumpsuit is a prime example of a great purchase to support my repeating ways.  It's been my travel outfit, interview outfit, casual Friday outfit, and everything in between.

And now it's time for our weekly flashback Friday featuring this look here. Basically, it's more items I wear on repeat now that it's warmed up. That top has been one I still can't get enough of to this day!

The Best Jumpsuit

You know that magical feeling you get the second you put something on the very first time? It makes you stand taller, feel extra confident and ultimately feels like the best version of yourself. That's the feeling I got when I tried this jumpsuit on (my review here). While I knew it was going to be a piece I would get plenty of use out of, I didn't realize I would love it even more now than before. I mean let's be real-jumpsuits are hard to pee in and take some work. They're this weird mix of effortless and lots of effort. Oh, fashion! Only when you find a good fitting one, you know get that magical feeling, can you commit. Or is that just me?

For these pictures, I went fancy. If my hair is done and heels are on, I call that fancy. As you may know, I just came back from Tulum, and guess what jumpsuit saved the day? Yup, this one! I impulsively threw it in my carry on at the last second and so glad I did. It turned out to be the best outfit to travel home in. You can see here how I styled it.

Black Jumpsuit

You guys, can you tell I had such a great time this weekend? Honestly, most of these pictures were of me laughing and really that's what was happening just about all weekend on our girls trip or as the bride-to-be would call it 'bridesmaid bootcamp'. There really wasn't anything bootcamp unless a long hike is considered training. However, I came across this black jumpsuit (under $45) at the last second (literally hours before we left) and so glad I did. It was perfect for our wine tasting stop at Bernardo Winery. It had everything from cute bench swings to a chocolate shop, oh and wine of course. I've already had two girl weekends this month and I'm craving another one.

Black Jumpsuit

So I'll be honest I've been searching and dreaming and searching some for the right black jumpsuit. Let me tell ya it's no easy task! It's got to fit just right, no bunching up you know where, something clean and tasteful. Oh my goodness tasteful. I even did a craving lately post way back when (see here). And when I saw this gem hanging there in my size (there was just two left) I just knew-this is the one!

Since the day didn't really involve anything other than some errands, I kept it casual with a jean jacket and my renewed favorite flats. But I am totally waiting for the perfect occasion to dress it up. On a side note, I need to say that I was having a really good great bun day! Sadly, I don't even know what special thing I did. But if I did then you might see too many days of the great bun...
