Feeling Like Fall

All my favorite Fall pieces that have been sitting pretty in my closet are rejoicing now. It's FINALLY feeling like Fall in LA. Seriously, I'm pulling out everything that screams layers. This oxblood jacket is no exception. I didn't know when I was going to be able to wear it, but the time has come and I find it goes with everrrything! If there's one thing I would say is my go-to in cooler months it's a good jacket. You probably will be seeing it a lot around here.

In other news, can I just say I'm officially hooked on Old Navy. This top (last seen here) and these jeans are some pieces that I cannot stop wearing. And we all know how much I love a good lace up flat so when I saw these restocked I just had to. Forget about picking nude or black because they are under $30 each-both it was!

3 Ways to Style A Bomber Jacket

With Spring around the corner, I love adding some new pieces to my closet that I know can work for so many occasions and with pieces I already own. A bomber jacket fits this to a T! This white bomber is fresh for Spring and is great textured fabric that gives it more structure. 

chambray / skirt similar / booties

A pencil skirt and button down is always a great combination for work and topping your look with a bomber jacket is a nice alternative to a blazer. Depending on your work dress code, you can stick with the chambray or a traditional button down.

sweatshirt / jeans / wedges

Since a bomber jacket has a sporty chic vibe putting it with boyfriend jeans just seems right, but your favorite jeans definitely works. Playing up the shoes and accessories is key to making this weekend ensemble look casually polished.

dress similar  / wedges / sneakers

Surprise! I just couldn't keep this a night look. Okay, so maybe I just wanted to wear these leopard 

sneakers (can you blame me?). Either way a LBD can be transformed with bomber jacket and a quick switch of shoes can take your look from night or day or vice versa.

If you haven't noticed, but I have a thing for jackets and possibly shoes (that on another day). But back to jackets. I was purusing the mall last week and everywhere I turned was a bomber jacket in all these cute fabrics and prints. So many options and oh I love them all! I tried on 3 out of the 4. I had too. I mean how could I not? They add the perfect amount of sporty unexpectedness that is playful and down right fun! Tomorrow I'll show you which one I picked.
