Drop what you're doing! My big tip for shopping at Madewell is ALWAYS shop their sale on sale. The last one was about a week and a half ago, so you can imagine how surprised I was to see them do another one. And this has to be the best deal of all-EXTRA 40% OFF (code: SHORETHING). So many pieces are marked so low and it's a mix of newer Summer and some of their older pieces. Trust me, things are going to sell out and I wouldn't hold back now.

We all know my love (some might call it obsession) with Madewell. And I won't deny my love for the brand. One section I check more than I would like to admit is their sale section. It's a good day when I see new items have been added, especially if I have been holding out on them. There's so many new items added and quite a few I own. These are all pieces that are on heavy rotation and had to share with you.

Okay, this one I haven't had a chance to take pictures of. It is roomy in the body, so looks best if you tuck in. If you're pregnant, this would work well with a growing bump. It also comes in a navy option that is even cheaper! Ughhh but that embroidery is just so good!

This faux wrap floral top has been one I reach for weekly! It's a nice floral that works dressed for the office or with jeans. If I would recommend any of these tops, it would be this one. I mean it's so flattering and it's under $20-talk about a steal!

Totally not joking about how flattering this style top is! I actually got it in this chambray version first. If you a Madewell fan, I'm sure you'll also an avid chambray collector. This is what I say is a fancy chambray top and is one of those no need to think about tops. 

I realize all these are tops, but hey you can never have enough tops! Well, I basically live in a cute top + jeans. Anyway, all these are tops I can recommend/wear enough! So grab them while your size is available if you're on the hunt for some tops!

Madewell Try-On's: Spring

First things first, there's a big Madewell sale going on and today is the last day! I was hoping to get this post up earlier, but better late than never, right? So the good news is you can take 20% off everything except denim and their leather transport collection or 30% off orders of $200+ with code FOLLOWURCART. Of course, I had to get in and do a quick try on. Actually, I did two trips as you'll be able to tell with my hair.

RUFFLE FAUX WRAP DRESS $150 // Size 0

Madewell didn't come out with many dresses this season, but thought this one was worth trying on. It is bold, but a flattering cut. I could see how this could work in an office setting or for the weekend. It does run true to size. 

TEXTURE & THREAD GATHERED-SLEEVE TOP $45 // SIZE XS

Okay, you might recognize this from my last post. Clearly, I loved it. The color is a nice blush for Spring. For me, the texture and material is what makes this extra special. I will say it does run short and you would need high-waisted jeans.

HI-FI SHRUNKEN TEE $35 // SIZE XS

Can Madewell ever make a bad stripe? Nope. This one is a little more tomboy, but I kinda love that with the smaller fit. It's a little loose and felt I could wear an xs or small without seeing any real difference.

TEXTURE & THREAD WRAP-TIE TOP $45 // SIZE XXS

This is just another great updated basic top that will go with so much. It does come in several other colors. I did find this to run big. I would have never tried it on an xxs until seeing it in person. It's still not fitted, so I would say size down.

RAINBOW STRIPE BUTTON-FRONT TANK TOP $58 // SIZE M (PROBABLY NEED XS)

I really was hoping my store would have this in my size, but the smallest size was a medium. It's clearly so big, but fun for the warmer months. I love the elastic at the back for fit. I'm thinking I would need a XS in this one.

HIGH-RISE DENIM BOYSHORTS IN GLENOAKS WASH $69.50 // SIZE 25 

EMBROIDERED FABLE TOP $65.99 // SIZE XS

This top might look familiar, but I had to try it on again now that it's been marked down. It really looks best tucked in. While I don't try on denim often, I am on the hunt for shorts. Their denim does run a size bigger than what I normally get or if you are between sizes you should get your smaller size. These are just the right amount of high-waist for someone who is short in the torso, like myself. Surprisingly, they were comfy around the waist. While I'm still debating if they are flattering on my rear, they do cover it all. I'm just not used to a more fitted pair of shorts.

There's not much that puts a smile on my face on a Monday, but a good dress does. You may remember this dress from my fitting room try-on's. Truth be told, up until this dress, I would have said I'm not a gingham print girl. I love the print on other people, but just never felt very me when I would try a piece on. But leave it to my favorite store to finally convert me! And you guys, today's the last day for Madewell's Insider Sale-15% off everything! If there's one email in my inbox that get's me excited, it's ALL the emails from Madewell. My formula usually goes like this: opens email with new arrivals, plan trip to Madewell, try on everything new, buy one thing, wait till everything else goes on sale, and repeat. And guess what guys? Things from the first spring arrivals are starting to be marked down. I make sure to note the best sizing so that I can buy the pieces I want and not have to worry about any final sale pieces.

It was LOVE at first sight! And it's just as good in person. The material is heavier, which is ideal for me. The office I'm in is freezing! But the tie waist makes it incredibly flattering.

Okay, so you shouldn't wear a colorful sports bra underneath it. But it is a cute light-weight top for the warmer months. I love the sleeves and well the stripes are a change from my usual blue and white.

This is one of those upgraded classics that has the right twists to make it a great staple. The slight bell-sleeve is enough to test out the trend, but not excessive. The oversized body is my jam, but recommended sizing down. You can see how I styled it in this post.

Every now and then I do come upon a print that I love and this is one. I love an easy dress to throw on and this would be it. But I would need to add a belt to it. Now that it's on sale, I feel like the price point is great for a silk dress.

Of course, I had to try on the top and well I loved it! I know a lot of the reviews said it runs small, but I found it be just right with my normal size. I do have small shoulders and chest, which probably is the reason. Otherwise, you might want to go up a size. I can't wait to wear this with white jeans in the spring and black jeans during the early fall.

This is one of those dresses that you see and have to try on. It's that pretty. I tried to come up with a million reasons or places to wear this. Trip to Italy or Tulum, no one would say anything if I wore this to work, right? Is that just me who does that? Anyway, the price now is just too good to pass up. It does run big. They were out of the smaller size when I tried it on, but they have all sizes online.

Let's just say I've been waking up every day this week thinking it's one day ahead, so to say I was disappointed a lot this week would be an understatement. But you know what cures disappointment? A sale! Not just any sale, but one of the biggest sales at Madewell. I really should just give them my paycheck at this point. If you saw on Instagram, I was trying on the spring arrivals last weekend. They are just as good or even better in person. Anyway, the sale. It's up to 30% off with code 'NOTKIDDING' (gosh!
