Cute Sweaters Under $100

sweater (size xs) // jeans // booties (go up 1/2 size) // purse // bandana // sunglasses

Is anyone else trying to grasp the holiday season is starting in 7 days? This girl really is.  It's such a fun filled time and so many places to go. From traveling to holiday dinners to shopping, the calendar is full these days. Personally, I love to keep my looks easy, so I can stress focus on holiday events and food. Normally, I'm a dress girl, but with all the running around and prepping a fun sweater and favorite jeans are my go-to. If you ask me, they're also an excuse to buy one for yourself and scoop one up to gift. This recent mustard sweater (last seen here) is the type you'll reach for all season long. It's a high contender to be my Thanksgiving Day outfit, but I'll definitely be switching out to these cozy pants. Do you have your outfit picked out?

Here are more sweaters under $100 (for you or gifting):

Flashback Fashion Friday's Linking #20

floral top // jean skirt (runs large) // tan hat (size medium) // purse (similar) // booties (sample sale find, but love these)

Happy Friday people! If I could hug Friday, I would. In the meantime, let's talk skirts. I don't what it is but I have really been into skirts. Okay, maybe it's because they really are having a moment and all over the internets. I had my eye on another jean skirt in addition to my button down jean skirt. Totally sold the second I put this free people skirt on. It has that good kind of stretch that makes the tush look ahhh-mazing! It does run big in the waist, so make sure to size down. Oh and clearly my latest obsession is this hat! Yup two posts in a row guys. It comes in 3 sizes and super affordable. Take that as a hint that I will be wearing it a lot around here.

And you know what time it is? It's flashback Friday time! You can never go wrong with a jean jacket and dress combo seen here. I have had that jacket for a few years now and wear it all year long. The dress though needs to be pulled out again. I really want to do a more bundled look with a bomber jacket, tights and boots.
Thank you for joining last week! We love having returning friends and new faces join in each week!

Flashback Fashion Friday's Linkup #18

lace up dress // purse // booties // hat (old, love this)

Can't stop. Won't stop with the dresses! And I might just be wearing this dress as I type. Guess that does make me obsessed, but I would call it a good return per wear. I'm already planning the different ways I can wear it. Perhaps, when I finally find those OTK boots, it would be amazing with this dress.

Now, let's flashback to last year outfit. Both this top and skirt are still one of my favorites. I have been waiting to wear this skirt again, but forgot till now. Opps! Anyway, definitely wearing to work next week.
Thank SO much for linking up with Jessica and I! We hope you'll join in again today!

Dress Girl

If there's one thing I can never pass up, it's dresses. Whether it's a formal occasion or not, my go-to is a good dress. So with plans to go wine tasting the past weekend, it gave me a good reason to pick this paisley dress up. But unfortunately my friend came down with the stomach flu and that trip got canceled real fast. Not going to lie, I was and still am a bit bummed. I really really love heading to wine country! But hey I still got this dress and it has pockets guys! #easilydistracted Now, let's talk about these booties because they are my current favorite booties. They come in several colors but the taupe and navy were restocked a few weeks back. I passed them up earlier, but really regretted it. Restocking rarely happens at Sole Society and when it does it can take months....MONTHS without those amazing shoes you CAN NOT stop thinking about! As far as sizing goes, I really would do a half size up, but they are a great pair that go with everything. I've been wearing them non-stop!

How was your weekend?

Pretending It's Fall

shirt dress (under $40) // jean jacket // crossbody (similar) // suede booties (run 1/2 size small)

There's this part of me that really wants to wear sweaters and cozy scarfs and sup on a nice hot chai and feel that crisp air, but I guess that memo hasn't been received by mother nature in LA. So what's a girl to do? She finds a cute dress in a pretty rust color because that's as close to Fall dressing as we are going to get. Okay, you also toss on a jean jacket for the fashion's sake and you pretend it's a nice 70 degees not 90ish. One day it'll happen. One day...

On another note, I've been testing out my Sapphire curing wand and used the pearl wand to get these curls. I have to say that if your looking to get more even shaped curls without that much effort that will do it. It's even better than the wand I used in this post. Well you know for those hair challenged.

Craving Lately: Peep-toe Booties

1, 2, 3, 4

If there's something I'm a fan of it's the bootie! They go with everything and when I find a pair I'm head over heels over (sorry I just had to throw that in there) I wear them nonstop! But I've got Spring on the brain and guess who's got an update? The bootie did! The peep-toe detail is perfectly chic and not to mention great for showing off those pedi's. From dresses to boyfriend jeans, a peep-toe bootie will finish your look effortlessly. I'm thinking #3 would be great for work and weekend looks. Can you see yourself picking up a pair?

And can we all just do a happy dance for Friday!
Have a great weekend!
