There's this part of me that really wants to wear sweaters and cozy scarfs and sup on a nice hot chai and feel that crisp air, but I guess that memo hasn't been received by mother nature in LA. So what's a girl to do? She finds a
cute dress in a pretty rust color because that's as close to Fall dressing as we are going to get. Okay, you also toss on a
jean jacket for the fashion's sake and you pretend it's a nice 70 degees not 90ish. One day it'll happen. One day...
On another note, I've been testing out my
Sapphire curing wand and used the pearl wand to get these curls. I have to say that if your looking to get more even shaped curls without that much effort that will do it. It's even better than the wand I used in
this post. Well you know for those hair challenged.
I love the print on your dress! That bag is so fun too!

It's warm again here today too! We keep having dips then highs. Hoping fall heads your way soon. In the meantime, you look amazing in this dress and boot combo.

Fall color dresses + booties is the best way to make it feel like fall when it's so hot. I wore black jeans over our 90 degree weekend and sweated my butt off. lol. Your hair looks really good!

I've been trying to summon fall over here, too! haha that outfit really is the perfect fall choice for warmer weather. Obviously copying that! I'm glad you like that curling wand! I keep hearing all these great things about curling wants but I haven't tried on yet, good to know that's a good brand!

I can't even imagine it still being 90 degrees! It nearly hit 75 degrees today and that's warm for New York at this time of year. Usually it's in the mid 50s to upper 60s. Anyways, you look really cute!!

Cute dress-- love the color and the print! While I do wish we had a cool down I'll admit that I'm glad I'm able to wear my cute dresses still :P

Fabulous transition look, Adri! I love it! We are loving our 70 degree weather now but it's not going to last much longer, so I'm wishing I were by you right about now! Your bag and booties especially make this into a great warm-weather fall look. You nailed it!

What a cute outfit. I have a similar dress and a jean jacket, and you along with other bloggers are convincing me that I need some booties! It's not 90 here, but it still gets up to mid 70's, 80's most afternoons. It's easy to dress for fall in the morning but by the afternoon I'm dying in a sweater!
ReplyDeleteYou can do no wrong Adri! I love the effortless chic style with the dress and denim jacket. The boots serve as the perfect finishing touch!

I was looking at your photos and was loving your curls. I am enjoying this weeks "cooler" temps but I think it's going back up again next week.
ReplyDeleteThank you for being a part of TBT Fashion link up and hope to see you Thursday.
