Flower Crown

The second I got my hands on this flower crown it just tugged at my flower loving heart and maybe my 5 year old self that loves playing dress up too. Okay...I still do love playing dress up (evidence above). Some things never change. But even though adult life can become too serious sometimes, I tossed that to the side, put on my Free People dress, and my Haybands flower crown for carefree time playing dress up. I'm really thinking I need to do this more! Anyone else care to join? Just bring your flower crown.

Back to Haybands. Have you heard of them? They are cute line of accessories like flower crowns and hair ties that don't leave those dents in your hair. My favorite part about their hair ties is that they are embellished (love these and these) and really amp up your arm party. Oh and for all my small wristed ladies, these are kinda the best thing ever.

P.s. Haybands is having a flash sale till tomorrow! So now's the perfect excuse to pick something up!

Happy Hump Day!

Black and Cognac

No matter how many times I try to stay away, I just can't. I cannot. Nope. My will power is just no match for Forever 21. Seriously, these sandals are pinch me good. They basically are the best knock off of last year's Vince espadrilles, which I have in black and were sold out in cognac. So you bet I snatched these up asap! They literally go with everything and are so so so comfortable! And like I said I can't resist Forever, so I picked up this embroidered shift because I knew it would be perfect with the sandals.

Hope you had a nice weekend!

Spring Beauty Favorites

Happy happy Friday friends! Anyone have nothing planned but really excited for the weekend like me? Anyway, I don't really share much about beauty around here mainly because I feel like a novice. However, these 3 are what I'm currently reaching for and can't get enough of.

Living Proof Instant Texture: This is one of those brands that I kept hearing about and on my list to try. I racked up enough points at Sephora to get this sample size and couldn't stop using it! It's basically the perfect product to help give you that beachy hair. Personally, I put it in when my hair is wet and braid my hair, go to sleep, and wake up to the perfect waves. I plan on picking up the full sized version this weekend since I'm all out of my sample. Oh, and it smells amazing!

L'Occitane Jasmin & Bergamote Fragrance: And since I'm crazy about good smelling hair stuff I'm all for a great fragrance. I'm obsessed with anything jasmine-tea, flowers, candles, ice cream....you get it. I'm obsessed! This fragrance has the perfect amount of jasmine to get my fix and mixed with the bergamote-perfect! I also love that I don't smell it on anyone else. I won't go there, but let's just say I'm a little fickle about smelling my perfume on every other woman.

Essie Polish in Tart Deco: No matter how many years go by, but I always find myself gravitating towards this epic Spring/Summer color around this time of year. It looks great against so many skin complexions and just adds a fun pop of color. For me, it's a classic.

If you have a beauty favorite that I must try, I want to hear!

Wedding Guest Attire

It's that season again. You know wedding season and after doing a happy dance finding out that we were invited to my best friend's sisters wedding (yeah say that one fast) I realized I needed a dress. Side note: she was have a really intimate wedding and the guest list was tiny and initially told we wouldn't be invited. So that happy dance was no joke! Now back to the important stuff: the dress. While I generally gravitate towards shifts, I wanted to step out of my norm this time. And I'm not going to lie it was a challenge! It's funny now thinking about how I passed this dress a few times on different trips to the mall and it wasn't till a week before the wedding that I finally tried it on. Because let's face it I had tried on a million dresses by now and this was all that was left. A few texts later to my besties and it was settled. I think the best part is that I know I can wear this floral number with these sandals and a jean jacket for more casual occasions. I tried finding it online for you, but no luck. This dress is very similar or pop into your nearest Bloomingdales. Since I did a lot of online browsing before the wedding, but never got around to ordering in time, I have a bunch of options below that are under $150, mostly under $100. Hopefully this helps any of you attending a wedding soon or even graduations!

Thanks so much for stopping by! Happy Hump Day!

Boho with Rocksbox

If you haven't been able to tell, I've really am into anything boho. It's funny but my coworkers were having a discussion the other day about how boho is my signature style (clearly it's noticeable). While I've had this dress for sometime, I found one of the best ways to update it is with accessories. I thought it would be fun to do a little print mixing with this embroidered clutch that really makes my boho loving eyes oh so happy! Then I just had to include 2 pieces from my first Rocksbox. You get 3 pieces. And OH-M-GEE did they nail it! Don't get me wrong, I hands down love surprises, but wasn't sure if they could really send pieces that would be, well, so me. The beaded blue and gold wrap bracelet is great for my extra small wrists, which I did mention when I signed up-loved that they keep that in mind. It's like a man who actually listens to what you say and sends you pretty things. The gold statement necklace is actually flipped. The other side has a little more bling to it, beautiful, but I wanted something more neutral since there is already a lot going on. Anyway, have you tried Rocksbox yet? It's such a fun way to try out jewelry. You create a profile of your style and make a wish list of items you would love to try. From there your stylist picks out some pieces to send you. Plus, it's starting at $19 a month and you can swap your box as many times as you want a month and purchase anything from you box. I'm honestly having a hard time sending these pieces back. If you're ready to try out Rocksbox, you can use code ADRILATELYXOXO for a free month.

Hope you have a great Monday!

Spring Casual

So I guess you can say I took another little hiatus last week, but was able to share with you my Shopbop picks because that's just too good even a sick girl will manage to shop. Not that you really want to hear all the details of being sick, but oh-m-gee last week was one of those weeks you think is never going to end and get nothing done. So pretty much my do-to list from the week was pilled on to the weekend. I really wasn't looking forward to the weekend with a never ending to-do list, but then miracles happen and suddenly things get cancelled and you find thee dress for that wedding next week. It's so pretty! But now the shoe hunt is on and I have like 4 days. I like to push the limits-I know.

I've mentioned before, but my full on obsessive love for florals is in complete overdrive. When I bought this top (another sweet TJ Maxx find), all I found that day was floral print after floral. I might have bought 3 floral tops-opps! Since there's no pink or purple in the print, I figured it was a perfect time to pop on this fun color from Glow Minerals. It's actually a lip crayon that has a sharpener for a cap, which is pretty genius! I'm wearing Sorbet and is a bright matte pink. It's been my go-to pink lip shade.

Did you have a great weekend?

Shopbop Favorites

If you would have saw my original plan for the Shopbop sale, it would have looked a lot different. But when you wait til the final stretch of the sale to get all those dream worthy pieces they're not always available in your size. Lesson learned-don't get sick during the first day of the sale and sleep in. Okay, I couldn't control that, but I found a bunch of my go-to basics still available. You can never go wrong with classic aviators, your favorite jeans, and all 25% off with code SPRING25. So go snatch up some of your favorites before the sale ends tonight.

Happy Shopping!

Jean Chat

I really wasn't kidding when I said you would be seeing more florals around here. If you ask me, you really can't have enough. But then again I might have a floral addiction obsession. Anyway, lets chat jeans shall we? That topic makes me want to cringe sometimes. Oh, you too! The thought of trying to find thee perfect pair doesn't come easy. It's serious work and a lot of mental will power. Am I right? But when you find that pair it's all worth it! Let me just say I did some digging and found a brand that I have never heard of but LOVE! Have you heard of DL1961? After trying several pairs that just weren't cutting it fit wise, I took the plunge and picked up a pair of DL1961 in the Emma Legging and have zero regrets! Seriously, where has this brand been hiding?! It's worth every.single.penny because it hugs your body in the best possible way and better than a pair of yoga pants. The Emma Legging comes in a bunch of different washes and plan on picking up the grey or black next. Either way, I know I'll be happy.

Whats's your favorite brand for jeans?
