Endless Summer

Part of me loves this endless Summer LA seems to be on for many reasons. It calls for ice cream as an acceptable meal without feeling any guilt and stops at Lemonade. Good thing they have food there (um we're talking thee best mac n' cheese) and lemonade of course! But the down side is digging through my closet to find yet another outfit for this crazy heat that hasn't already been worn a million times. And really I just would love to start wearing more plaid and possibly booties. I did get lucky and found this Rachel Roy dress (love this fall one) from last year feeling neglected this year. I love that it has pockets and subtle cutouts, so I'm glad I got another chance to wear it.

On another note, today I start my new job, which is nervously exciting. I do have some really early mornings now, but hopefully I can adjust to that quickly. Wish me luck!

September Highlights

It's really hard to comprehend that it's October already. Maybe it's this little heat wave LA is having. But seriously September was one very good month. It was filled with so many amazing adventures.

-A little date night to this amazing park that overlooks downtown
-Prepping for my friend's arrival means flowers and more flowers from Trader Joe's
-Before heading to wine county with my friend from Costa Rica, stopping at the beach in Santa Barbara is a must
-Wine tasting in the cute town of Los Olivos
-My friend requested Gjelina and I had no objection to that. Yeesss, that pizza is so picture worthy!
-Taking in every last second with my friend and literally grabbed a glass of wine at Perch before dropping her off at the airport
-The most amazing bunch of flowers at the farmer's market
-Another mini trip to the beach for some evening of volleyball
-Cheers to a great girl's weekend celebrating the bride-to-be!

Happy Friday! xo

Fall Floral

If you were to take a peek in my closet, you would probably tell me I don't need another floral print anything. Buuutt I'd like to think that I have a knack for finding a good floral print. And these floral printed pants not only had my name all over them but made my wallet sing! I ended up walking out with these beauties for $15 and felt like I just robbed the store (not that I know what that actually feels like). They have different prints that I'm thinking would be nice and these pants have a faux leather waist for a little edge. I'll be starting a new job next week and have this urge to find pieces that are somewhat professional but able to dress down. Although I really don't have to dress up in the traditional business attire, I just can't help myself.

Thanks so much for reading! xo
