Over and over I kept wondering how to handle this weeks election. Nothing but silence. From what you see here on this blog and social (if you follow there), politics don't seem to fit into anything I present. And I rarely have something shock me to the core where I feel utterly numb. There was nothing to post or could I bring myself to fake things (no one wants that). Everyone around me is numb and under this great fog. I'm not trying to pick sides or contribute more fuel to the fire. Because the reality is this is where we are. Change is hard regardless if you want this or not. It shouldn't be about division any more. Truly, hope for peace and kindness towards one another.
Thank you so much for listening and letting me say what's on my heart without judgement!
Even though I feel a little stuck, moving forward is the only option. So thank you for linking up. We loved Sarah from Trendy and Tidy and Roxanne from Glass of Glam!
I think a lot of people are just like you, still in a state of disbelief but we just have to move forward.

On the same page. It's tough. My main goal is to show my girls how to love, how to maybe not agree with people, but still offer love. And to stand with the people who need it the most. Thanks for your post. I think a lot of people are processing and coming to grips with what is happening. You look adorable and I hope you enjoy your weekend!

I'm sorry to hear of how you are feeling. I hope it won't be as bad as it we imagine it will be. As a Canadian, it is also hard for us to see this happening but everyone has to accept the choices and hope that it will get better. Would love if you can link up to http://the-wardrobe-stylist.com/2016/11/06/fashion-leather-jackets/
ReplyDeleteThe outcome of this election has left so many of us feeling bereft. The future feels dismal and all I can do is hope that things actually do get better, because the satisfaction of an "i told you so" will be lost.
