A Summer Picnic

Summer might be coming to an end, but it sure didn't feel like it over the weekend. It was one of those days that you ask yourself if you really have to put on clothes. Clearly, the answer is yes. To be honest any activity at all just seemed like too much even getting dressed, but we agreed before this heat wave that we would have a picnic at Echo Park Lake. It's a spot that has been transformed and is just outside downtown LA. There's amazing views of the city skyline and is really such a great spot for people watching and picnics. And since I usually spill on myself I went with dark wash shorts and a printed top that is super forgiving even though I really wanted to wear this amazing floral romper. Oh, I will be back!

Hope you're having a great week! Make sure to check back tomorrow for something super exciting!

Outfit Deets:
Top: gift (good option)
Shorts: Old Navy (old, similar)

  2. No more heat waves please! It's been pretty nice here in NorCal but I know we'll have more hot days before summer is over :( I always spill on myself too! lol. I even have a sweatshirt just for drinking hot chocolate because I always spill my hot chocolate on myself.

  4. What is it about a panama hat that just makes everything so much chicer? And honestly, I'm envious of your heat wave - our high for the week will top out at 76.

P.S. there's a small typo in your first sentence
