Easy Beach Waves with Irresistible Me

 

I'll be the first to admit, I cannot curl my hair to save my life. Well that is until I tried this new curling wand from Irresistible Me. I picked out the Sapphire 8 in 1 complete curling wand because I had no clue which size wand would work. Since it comes with 8 different size wands that are detachable, I figured one of them was bound to work, riiight? Turns out the first one I picked worked (as seen in the first picture). You don't even know how happy this made me! Now speaking for all you ladies who either have zero luck curling your hair and or have really thick hair, this is your answer to your prayers. My curls not only held up without any hairspray, but lasted (don't cringe) a whole week. I'm a firm believer in dry shampoo. I'm really excited to try the other size wands and will report back. And a big thank you to my friend/photographer who was willing to sit in a cramped bathroom for an hour to take these pictures. Our relationship has been taken to a whole new level.

How was your weekend? The temps dropped in LA finally and it really made me want to pick up those cozy pieces I've been holding off on. It's suppose to heat up again, but I'm going to bask in Fall fashion for the time being. If there's one thing I've learned about my style over the years, it's that I cannot live without a good jacket that can go with everything and willing to spend a bit more than I normally would. That grey jacket has a unique faux suede finish and the fit is amazing! Those taupe booties have just been restocked and I missed out on them last round, but just picked them up. They do run a half size small and come in a bunch of colors. And just like everyone and their mom I've been on the hunt for a suede skirt. I couldn't convince myself that I would be able to take care a suede skirt so I was excited for this faux perforated option (under $50). Oh, and because I'm late to the game a nice blanket scarf.

Happy Friday! Thanks for all your sweet comments from my last post. October has already kicked off well. Caught up with a sweet friend for dinner last night and there really isn't anything better. Okay, well there is something that might be just as good-these flats! Besides being super obsessed with lace up flats, this pair just feels a little more like fall with the grey color until the weather here cools down. I have to say that these grey flats are thee comfiest things! It's like walking on a cloud and I never want to take them off! I did re-string the laces to make them look like those really expensive one's.
