If someone can explain to me how it's the very last day of 2015, please do! Since I feel like I just blinked, I needed to refresh my memory via outfits. There definitely was some obvious things going on- 1) my style started to shift to neutral loving (guess I'm growing up) 2) OBSESSED with lace up flats and my espadrilles 3) I am forever a dress girl! And basically just started picking all the outfits with the dresses, so I just cut it short. You're welcome. Because I would have just had to change the title to favorite dresses of 2015.

Does anyone have any plans for tonight? Not sure what we are doing, but the bf's family are party animals! As much as I would like to be cuddling in pj's on a couch, I'm sure we will be out and about at someone's house.

Anyways, I just want to say thank you for stopping by throughout the year! It's been my creative corner and I hope I was able to add something to your day this year.

Cheers to 2015! Here's to a more amazing 2016!

Grey Dress

Well, hellooo there! Didn't exactly mean to take a holiday hiatus, but there was just so much family, friends, and food going on. Hopefully, you had a lot of that too! If it counts, I did wear this dress on Christmas with this jacket. Now, if there's anything I learned about this dress it must be a hit or really a magnet for cat calls from onlookers. Yup, I got blown a kiss and asked if they could join in on my pictures. Not exactly the attention I thought I would get, but my mom and boyfriend's brother's girlfriend liked it. And they wouldn't lie to me.

Have a great last Tuesday of 2015!

Last Minute Gifts So Good They Won't Know!

Not that you meant to forget that one person or maybe you just need to add a little something extra, I've got the perfect gift that they won't guess it was a 'last minute crap I almost forgot you gift'-subscription services! Sure a gift card works, but who doesn't love a gift that keeps on giving?! From makeup to clothes to grooming, it's perfect! And let's be real who wants to leave there cozy couch to be met with crowds of people scrabbling for the perfect gift? Nope, this is the smarter solution! Go ahead, put on those sweatpants, pour yourself a glass of wine, and finish up that shopping.

Birchbox: Pick this up for my sister (no I didn't forget her) but thought it would be a fun gift for her to try out. Not going to lie, packaging is so cute I want one for me. There's 3 months for $30, 6 months for $60, and 12 months for $110. Oh, and they even have subscription for guys!

Glossybox: Another makeup and beauty box subscriptions start at $25 per box, 6 months for $150, and 12 months for $250. Each box comes with 5 products.

Ipsy: A customizable monthly subscription that comes with a little makeup bag. My co-workers have this and each month when it comes we all passing it around. Definitely more budget friendly at just $10 per month.

Rocksbox: The perfect gift for the jewelry lover! She can test out an unlimited amount of jewelry each month and can decide on what she wants to purchase or send it all back with a prepaid label. 3 months (bonus $10 gift card) for $49, 6 months (bonus $25 gift card) for $99, or 12 months (bonus $50 gift card) for $149

Le Tote: Not sure what girl wouldn't want to new clothes each month! Sure, she's borrowing, but it's close enough to having an unlimited wardrobe. They recently launched a maternity line, which would be a really sweet gift to someone who's expecting. Subscriptions start at 2 months for $88.

Dollar Shave Club: Okay, okay one for the guys because I really don't know what guy likes to buy razors and maybe you like to see your guys face. They offer 3 months for $50, 6 months for $80, and 12 months for $140

Winter Staples + Linkup

blanket scarf // white coat (similar) // cream sweater // tan skirt (cute option) // OTK boots (love these) // tote // aviators

If you guys just knew how things go when I pack, you would know that it's not easy. There's the whole weather thing vs. practical comfort thing vs. wanting to look super cute vs. how much the airline will let me pack for free. But my quick trip this past weekend to San Francisco was about 24 hours and I wasn't dropping off my suitcase when I arrived. Basically, making it extra complicated. So you see this outfit here and that bag, well that's all I came with. I can honestly say I packed everything I needed in that tote. I think I deserve a gold metal. No, I don't plan on doing that ever again. Luckily, I got the most perfect day and I had enough layers. However, I literally hiked from the Bay Bridge to Twin Peaks. The boots were not made for that much hill climbing. But my case in point is neutrals will never let you down if you are packing a limited wardrobe. Oh, and pack an backup battery charger in case you go picture/snapchat crazy. You'll thank me later!

And what do you know, today's flashback happens to be one with these exact boots! Clearly, these boots were and have been going places.
Thanks for joining the link up! Hope you will link up this week with Jessica and I!

Casual in Window Pane + Linkup

Happy Friday! Raise your hands if you're ready for the weekend? Me, me, me! This girl is catching an early flight out to San Francisco for a quick trip! My girlfriend just moved up there a few weeks ago and naturally I'm the first to pay a visit (aka crash her couch). It's my first time visiting the city decorated for the holidays and hoping to eat my way through. Before I was all about the shopping, but now it's all about the food and drinks. You don't even know how big my itinerary is! So far the Ferry Building and lunch at Coqueta are at the top of the list. But I'm open to any suggestions. You can follow along on Snapchat username: AdriLately

Now, it's time to flashback to a year ago. While I'm not going to lie, I have to say this one really makes me see how far my pictures have come. Note to self: keep practicing with that camera because things do get better with practice. Anyway, these boots were a favorite last year and probably coming with me to SF.
Thank you for linking up! Hope you join Jessica and I for the linkup this week!

Layered Sweaters

Maybe it's an LA thing, but I've always been resistant to sweaters. Like I really just loathed the idea of having to buy sweaters. Maybe it's the fact that it rarely stays cold here. Maybe it's me trying to fight the fact that  my favorite season is over. But, yes, but this year is different. I've been on a sweater hunt and the chunkier and oversized the better! Oh, and paired together is just the coziest feeling not to mention warm. This tribal sweater has been on repeat ever since I got it. I'm really thinking this striped one might be next. Could this be a sign I'm officially a sweater lover?

Sequin Blazer + Linkup

sequin blazer (old, good option, love this-40% off) // black tank (great staple!) // coated skinny pants // d'orsay pump // aviators

Tis the season for sequins! Am I riiight? Not going to lie, but last year it was my big obsession. This year not so much. Not saying I'm ready to give them up. I'm just looking for new ways to wear them and all black with a side of sequins has my name all over it. With my holiday party next week, I'm thinking this is a good contender. Plus, these pants are more like a legging. Let's be real, that's a game changer when it comes to all the indulging happening this time of year.

Since we're on the subject of shine, let's just flashback to last year's holiday sequins. I really still love this skirt and would wear it again this year. But...maybe someone wants to invite me to their holiday soiree so I can wear it.

Now, it's time for YOU to link up! We really love seeing each and everyone of you join in and love seeing new faces!

Bundled in Neutrals

tan cardigan (on sale) // cowl neck sweater // grey jeans // tan hat // tan booties (run half size small) // crossbody (similar)

You know you're obsessed when you go shopping for something you're already wearing. I got dressed in my favorite grey jeans and hopped on over to my other latest addiction to buy more grey jeans. But hey they were distressed. So really that makes them completely different. I'm sticking to my story. But really I'm just head over heels about neutrals head-to-toe. And you know what? I just want to go buy more neutrals. #help
