The second I booked our tickets to Costa Rica, I immediately had to put the breaks on wanting to buy everrrything! And especially anything beach related until this month I gave myself the green light. Now, I started to find some amazing pieces, but what made sense to spend on or save on? The good news is that there are so many options at both prices. So what do you think I spent and saved on?

Floral Kimono

 I'm not going to lie here. But these white jeans have been on major rotation (just see here and here). They might have been thee hardest to find, but now it's just like how in the world did I live without them? Anyway, let's talk about the kimono. I mean I did title this floral kimono after all. It's the best thing to toss on this time of year. I've lived here all my life and I refuse to believe in June gloom. Then June hits and suddenly you need a light layer to toss on and this kimono fits that perfectly. Oh, and it has pockets! I bought it awhile ago, but found some great options for you.

Blue Maxi

Do you ever walk into a store, immediately see a piece, and just know this is something that you didn't even know you needed in your life? This blue maxi dress from H&M did it for me! It's like a blank canvas that can be styled a million ways. And because it's H&M it has a price that you just can't beat. Let's just say it's $17.95 well spent. A plain maxi dress can easily become a Summer staple when you take in upcoming travel plans-great travel outfit and easy to pack. While I have been feeling very boho lately, adding this kimono seemed so right. Add my favorite necklace and done!

Craving Lately: Kimonos

Maybe it's all this sunshine lately (not a bad thing at all), but I know that soon there will be days that will too hot for jackets. I think we are pretty clear how I love jackets from this weeks posts see here and here. When I started to see all these kimonos pop up, I couldn't have been happier. There a great alternative to a jacket and won't have me looking like I'm overheating in 80-90 degree weather. They come in cute prints and have such ease to them! Whether it's a simple tee and jeans or possibly a bathing suit cover up, I'm craving one in every floral and cute print I see! The first one even has a some print mixing going on in the back-super cute! Can you see yourself picking one up?
