The second I booked our tickets to Costa Rica, I immediately had to put the breaks on wanting to buy everrrything! And especially anything beach related until this month I gave myself the green light. Now, I started to find some amazing pieces, but what made sense to spend on or save on? The good news is that there are so many options at both prices. So what do you think I spent and saved on?

The Summer of Shoulders

Here's the thing. I'm obsessed to say the least with anything off the shoulder. I'm constantly looking for anything and everything off the shoulder. I'm pretty sure it's a boarder line problem. So you know when I saw this blue off the shoulder top I knew I had to have it. It actually combines my other love-embroidery. It really makes me feel like I'm on vacation. It also comes in cream and I might just have to get it too.

Anyway, these are my favorite jeans ever. They currently are part of the Nordstrom sale and they fit so well. I don't think I've had other jeans fit like they were meant specifically for me. I had to pick up another pair and also these jeans. Definitely worth stocking up on!

Summer Vibes

Happy Monday! Yesterday, we got back from our quick trip to Vegas for a proposal. The boyfriend's brother planned out the proposal to include practically his whole family. Everyone wore a different letter t-shirt to spell out 'Will you marry me?' and I took the pictures. I was feeling the pressure to make sure I caught the moment and I'm happy to say I did! Oh, and she said yes! I snapchatted a lot of it and I guess you can say I'm a new convert to all the hype of Snapchat. You can find me under Adri Lately. Being that it was such a quick (less than 24 hour trip), it was so easy to Snapchat everything.

P.s. If you are looking for a great wide brim hat at a steal, this hat is AMAZING! I found it at my local Free People, but was able to find it online for even less than I paid.

Splurge or Save: Gold Sandals

During the Summer, I practically live in sandals and I'm always on the hunt for a great looking sandal that can work with everything. After coming across this gold pair on Pinterest, I just couldn't help from thinking about them. They definitely make a statement and could easily be dressed up or down. While I didn't take the plunge yet, I did manage to find a very similar looking pair here at a fraction of the cost. Plus, it comes in a few other amazing colors. The only problem is how many colors to get?

Blue Floral Romper

As I've said before, it's already summer in my book, which means it's time for rompers to come out full swing. Oh, and ice cream! When I saw this blue floral romper, I was immediately dawn to it with all the vibrant colors. I was a little hesitant to order because I wasn't sure about sizing with foreign companies, but knew I couldn't beat the price tag. For reference, I went with my usual size small and I'm about 5'4. It's a good thing it fits-I got adventurous and picked up this pink floral romper too! I also recommend getting the expedited shipping. Placed my order Friday and it arrived the next Friday. The quality exceeded my expectations too! Since it was warm out over the weekend, I figured it would be perfect for my lunch date with Jessica. We went to one of my favorite wine spots and did a lot of catching up. It's just really nice to have someone who can blog talk with you and just share what we have been learning. And how awesome are her photography skills? We took a little walk in the nearby neighborhood just to take these, which only a blogger would understand and do willingly.

Lace Up Sandals

So you know when you spot something and instantly fall head.over.heels over? Well these lace up sandals are everything I've ever wanted and more! But I held out for a little because I mean it's January and my tootsies pretty much have not seen the light of day during the winter. Then when your boss tells you you're doing good here's a gift card, I took it as a sign to make them mine all mine! And as you can tell the weather gods were so nice this weekend. I can tell I will be living in these black sandals.

Summer Revival

So maybe I have a thing for blue printed dresses. But when the weather starts to heat up I do get excited to bring out pieces that haven't been worn since the last summer. It's like getting a new wardrobe that's free. I should say feels that way since everything was paid for at some point. Since I had (past tense because that Nordstom sale was too good) been holding off on buying new sandals, I pulled these grey pair out that I've never really worn and felt a new connection with. Sometimes it times several tries or years. Are you pulling out your Summer pieces and giving them new life?
